It’s rolled around once again and here we are — Monday 5th October.
As always, The Great Western is open seven days a week from 11am. Our award-winning coffee and cakes are available all day, along with our full bar service.
On Mondays we give our kitchen and front-of-house teams a well-earned day off, but the pub is still very much open for you. Fancy a change of scenery? Come and work from the pub — bring your laptop, bring your lunchbox, settle yourself wherever you feel comfortable and make use of our warm hospitality and plentiful plug sockets! 💻☕
This evening from 7pm, our traditional folk and unplugged music session takes place in the front right-hand bar. 🎻🎸🪕
And just to be clear — the rest of The Great Western remains exactly what it should be: a pub for everyone. ❤️
You don’t have to be taking part in the music. Come down for a drink, sit outside in the early autumn sunshine, find a cosy corner in the bar, bring the dog, read the paper, catch up with friends or simply enjoy having a little live music floating through in the background.
We’re also incredibly proud to support the Laugh & Life Admin Collective, whose monthly gathering is taking place with us this evening in the dining area.
