WOW! 🎶 What can we say… what a first Music Night at the Great Western that was!
Thank you to every musician, singer, toe-tapper and music lover who came along and helped make our first Monday night such a brilliant one. ❤️
So… we’ve made a plan!
🎶 Three Mondays a month will now be MUSIC NIGHT
🧠 And one Monday will become our QUIZ NIGHT!
We know our lovely musicians have commitments, so by running three music nights each month we hope to give as many of you as possible the chance to come along, play, sing and fill our beautiful historic building with music.
And remember — everything we put on on a Monday evening is FREE to attend and get involved with.
These Music and Quiz Nights will also run alongside our other Community Monday gatherings as they develop — including our planned Book Club, collaborations with our friends at Laugh & Life Collective, poetry with our friend Fraser Logan, and plenty more ideas we’re working on.
From the very beginning we said we wanted the Great Western to be a proper community pub — somewhere to meet, gather, play, laugh, create, make friends and feel welcome. Mondays are becoming our day to give the pub back to the community. ❤️

☕ We’re open as usual every day from 11am for great coffee and drinks.
Our kitchen is closed on Mondays ( at the moment ) but Tuesday to Sunday our award-winning fayre and fanfare is GO GO GO! 🍽️🥂
