🚴♀️ THE WOMEN’S TOUR OF BRITAIN IS COMING PAST THE GREAT WESTERN! 🚴♀️🇬🇧
This Sunday 23rd August, we’re incredibly excited to be welcoming a little piece of sporting history to our doorstep as the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women races through Warwickshire — and right past us here at The Great Western!
The final stage starts and finishes in Royal Leamington Spa, taking the world-class riders on a 123.8km route through our beautiful Warwickshire countryside before heading through Southam and back towards Leamington for the grand finale.
The riders are expected to pass The Great Western at approximately 2:00–2:05pm, so we’ll be encouraging everyone to be safely in position by around 1:45pm — ready for the excitement, the atmosphere and, of course, some serious cheering! 🚴♀️🙌

🍽️ Settle in for Sunday lunch
🍕 Grab a pizza and stretch out on the lawns
🍺 Enjoy a great beer, glass of wine or something cold from the bar
🌿 Soak up the atmosphere outside
🚴♀️ And when the moment comes, we’ll all head safely out together to the grass roadside to wave, cheer and make as much noise as we possibly can for these incredible women!
Sunday promises to be a fantastic afternoon of world-class sport right here in our own community, and we fully intend to make the most of another very special moment.
