As we stepped into September, we also stepped into something new — a slightly different rhythm, a stronger focus on community, and even more reasons to bring people together.
Our first Monday Music Night was a brilliant start. The pub was filled with live music, conversation, familiar faces and new ones too — exactly the kind of atmosphere we hoped to create.
So we’re delighted to say that going forward, Mondays will bring:
3 Music Nights each month
1 Quiz Night each month
Alongside other community groups, gatherings and events using the pub throughout the evening.
From music, quizzes and book clubs to poetry, social groups and community meet-ups, we want Mondays at the Great Western to become a proper part of the local week.
A place to meet, connect, play, laugh, listen and simply spend time together.
We promised from the beginning that the Great Western would be more than just a pub.
This feels like another lovely step towards exactly that.
