🎉 Saturday 22nd August – Summer Party on the Lawns
Join us for an afternoon that rolls effortlessly into the evening as we celebrate summer in true Great Western style! Stretch out on the lawns, relax in a deckchair with your favourite drink, catch up with friends and enjoy the soundtrack from DJ Rob, who’ll be playing everything from laid-back afternoon classics to dancefloor favourites as the sun begins to set.
Adding something truly special to the day, Fraser – Typing for Strangers returns with his vintage typewriter, creating beautiful, bespoke poems inspired by conversations with you.
And there’s one more reason to celebrate… it’s Siobhan’s Golden 50th Birthday! Rather than celebrating anywhere else, she wanted to mark this milestone exactly where she loves to be – surrounded by the wonderful people who have become her extended Great Western family. She would be absolutely delighted if you joined her to raise a glass, share a laugh, make some memories and celebrate together.

One celebration simply isn’t enough! Join us as we celebrate The Great Western’s first birthday with an unforgettable Bank Holiday Sunday.
We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome back Cartoon Tears, bringing the soundtrack to a fantastic afternoon of live music on the lawns. Add in award-winning hospitality, delicious food, refreshing drinks, wood-fired pizzas and, of course, birthday celebrations, and you’ve got the perfect way to round off the Bank Holiday weekend.
