GOOD MORNING BANK HOLIDAY WEEKENDERS! ☀️🚂🍕🎶
What an absolutely incredible day yesterday was at The Great Western and The Little Western… the sunshine, the laughter, the pizzas firing, the BBQ smoke rolling through the gardens, cocktails clinking and the lawns absolutely full of happy faces. It was magic. ✨
…and who’s ready to do it all over again today?! 🙌
We’re kicking things off this morning with The Great Wanderers 🥾🚂
Meet from 9:30am and we’ll set off at 9:45am for a slightly shorter wander this week — around an hour — so everyone can enjoy the sunshine without melting! Young, old, fast, slow, two legs or four… everybody is welcome.
Then from 11am the pub doors swing open for coffees, refreshing drinks, cakes, news papers and a gentle Sunday easing into the day before the kitchens and pizza ovens fire into full action from 12 noon. 🔥🍕
Whether your Sunday looks like:
🥩 A full roast with all the trimmings
🍔 Bar snacks and lighter bites
🍕 Freshly fired pizzas on the lawns
🍹 Hugo spritzes, limoncello spritzes and cocktails in the sunshine

The lawns, patios and Little Western will be full of bank holiday energy today as local legends Cartoon Tears take to the famous Pylon Stage from 3pm 🎸⚡️
(our own tiny nod to Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage… just with more pints and fewer muddy wellies.)
Bring blankets. Bring camping chairs. Bring the family. Bring the dog. Bring your Sunday best vibes and settle in for an afternoon of music, sunshine, great food, cold drinks and proper Great Western hospitality.
