🚂 Little Train No. 3 — Now Departing Platform GW! 🚂
We absolutely love this unique and memorable feature of The Great Western — lovingly and painstakingly refurbished with a lot of help, patience, and the odd puff of steam!
We’ve been so lucky to have our resident expert, Colin, guiding us through the process (as none of us really knew what we were doing!). Following the sad loss of Engine No. 1 after one tumble too many… we introduced Engine No. 2 — who, full of enthusiasm, whizzed around at lightning speed before burning herself out and heading off to the great train hospital.
Thankfully, Colin and his wonderful wife were on hand again with expert advice — and so, Engine No. 3 rolled into our lives. She’s a little different in looks, but already much loved.
So please give a warm welcome to Chloe, our LGB engine, who’s now happily tooting her way around the track once more — bringing smiles, nostalgia, and a touch of magic to all who visit.
We’re truly so sorry each time one of our engines gives up the ghost — it breaks our hearts too! But please know that we’re always doing our very best to keep the magic alive. This little railway isn’t just a feature; it’s a cherished piece of community history — and we’re proud to keep it running for everyone to enjoy.
