On the anniversary of his death — 111 years ago today — we honour Lieutenant Robert Mann.
We are deeply honoured to be the custodians of his blue plaque here at the pub, a quiet reminder of courage, duty, and sacrifice. Lieutenant Mann has no known grave, but he is commemorated at a memorial in Le Touret, where his name lives on.
